Karooba

Karooba features educational social gaming.  The website is created and maintained by a computer consulting firm in Minnesota.  The purpose of the site is to provide children with a fun, safe place to go online.  The site features trivia-based games that can be played alone, against the computer or with friends.  There is a leader board along the side of the site that tracks the highest scores.

Karooba also allows registered users to create their own trivia games and detailed avatars.  The “Karoobatar” is a graphic representation of the player that can be saved as the player's profile picture or downloaded onto a personal computer.  The site also offers its visitors code to embed a Karooba widget on their own sites.
